SOLD: UB Brescian Model Travel Bass 2015

-

NEW Brescian model double bass with removable neck. High quality solid spruce and maple flatback with many upgrades.

Description

This NEW 2015 UB Brescian Model with Removable Neck is in our showroom and is ready to walk out with you today. No expense was spared in the making of this high-quality travel bass. It features a hand-carved European Spruce top with inlaid purfling, and solid domestic maple for the flat back and sides. It has several upgrades including: hand-fit ebony edge bumpers, antiqued tuners, solo fingerboard, and our patented removable/adjustable neck. This bass offers great versatility and is currently setup with Spirocore strings. Due to the solid wood construction, this Brescian is not intended for heavy travel use, but the removable neck makes transportation easy. This travel bass could be paired with the new UB travel case (sold seperately).

The luthiers at Upton Bass built this travel Brescian as a customer commission; however, due to unforeseen circumstances (an unexpected relocation to an area where climate control would cause issues for a solid wood instrument), the owner has decided to sell it. This travel double bass is brand new–just out of production and has never left the UB showroom.
