Description
7/8 German bass with great big robust sound. This instrument features a recently replaced fingerboard, a new bridge fitted by UB and a new soundpost fitted by UB. The neck was also re-set by UB, and a heel extension was grafted on to raise the projection and overstand to a modern one. The bass has it’s original Tyrolean style hat peg machines. All cracks appear to have been repaired not too long ago, but not by UB, and appear to be sound. This bass has been top coated with amber varnish by us as the original finish had been sanded off.
