Upton Bass proudly offers the Martin bass line at both our Stonington
Connecticut and Boston Massachusetts shops. Classic English design and
great sound pour from the basses made by Tom and George Martin.
This instrument is based on the Martin 4/4 model. The whole bass was
shrunk down from the original to give a 1" shorter string length. This
bass is hugely playable, and a great all around bass. Tom’s day-to-day
bass is a Martin 3/4 model
