Even the most careful owner can have a slight "bump" with a door frame or table result in a crack or puncture. Some cracks can be repaired temporarily by working in glue and cleverly placing cleats through the ff holes to secure things until the top needs to come off, while others require the top to come off right away. Cleats, patches, crate paper and silks are all methods use to to regain structural integrity while not compromising tone.
