Upton Bass Low C Extension for Double Bass

Choosing the "C" Extension upgrade option on your UB Double Bass allows you to hit those low notes in the score! We custom make each extension. $1,200 gets you a custom made extension and one gate at the "E". Each additional gate is $250. The Upton Bass Extension is not only available on Upton Basses, we can custom make a C-extension for any double bass. 

Our fingered bass C extension is non-invasive (no holes through your precious scroll) and is constructed of top quality English Sycamore and best grade ebony for a lightweight addition to your bass.
