This gorgeous double bass is a fine example of an double bass made by the Klotz family from Mittenwald, Germany. This bass is dated approximately 1770 or earlier based on our extensive research. This double bass is an extremely rare and sought-after orchestral-quality instrument with a terrific sound, superb craftsmanship, and a desirable pedigree. Beautiful 7/8 size that is a delight to play!
