SOLD Carcassi Model Double Bass

The Carcassi model, inspired by ?Lorenzo Carcassi Fec. Dalla Madonna de Ricci in Firence', offers great sloping shoulders and a tremendous sound. Lorenzo Carcassi was active as an instrument maker from 1738 till 1757. He was part-owner of the firm "Lorenzo e Tomaso Carcassi".

In body very much a 7/8 size bass but with 42 inch string length that makes playing a breeze. Even the most subtle touch brings out the great sound of this bass.
