This double bass is a larger 3/4 romanian flat back upright bass complete with rubner tuners, an adjustable bridge, Thomastic Spirocore double bass strings, ebony fingerboard and tailpiece.  This Romanian upright is a good bass for the money.  This double bass is sold under many other names such as Mathias Tomas "Virtuoso", or a Leon Aubert R-22 to name a couple. 

This double bass is in good condition, but it could use a little love.  We would suggest scraping out the back of the neck, adjusting the nut, and cutting the bridge so that the adjusters could be used.  These are things that we could do for the new owner - a good going through for roughly $500.00, including adjusting with the soundpost, rehanging the tailpiece and fixing the endpin. Some accessories will also come with this double bass, such as a Pro-tech thick padded case with a zipper down the front and french upright bass bow labeled Antoine Schroeder.  The bow needs a rehair, but it is in overall good condition - it has a sturdy stick and nice frog.
