This is a Kay C 1 double bass, serial #43947 , from 1962 in excellent condition with it's original neck and a one piece heel. We just aquired this bass on 2/8/2005 and it is in need of a full set-up (all work will be done by us prior to shipping), which includes a complete varnish touch-up, fingerboard dress, bridge with adjusters, tailgut, soundpost, nut and strings. We expect this bass to move fast, and will now take a deposit on it.
