Made of hard, bone-colored ABS plastic and backed by a one year warranty, PT2 Bare Bones Intellitouch Tuner contains the same tuning technology as the PT1 but without the expensive and more professional-level features. The PT2 Intellitouch Tuner has no backlight, no handy carrying pouch, and only recalibrates between 438, 440 (the U.S. standard) and 442 (the European standard).

While the PT2 is sensitive enough to tune a double bass, it is not capable of measuring below low E. If you have a 5 string or extension double bass, you will need to purchase the PT1 Intellitouch Tuner.
