The GKMB150 combo amp continues to set the bar for ease of use, portability, affordability, and sheer durability.  This little amp is a real tank!  A great double bass amplifier that is great for "doublers" because it also fits the bill for lower volume electric bass needs! 

The GK112MBX is a simple and affordable way to add more headroom and power to your GKMB150.  By placing the GK112MXB on the opposite side of the bandstand, monitoring for your band mates becomes much easier.

The GKMB150 works very well with piezo double bass pickups.  Upton's own Revolution Solo II Double Bass Pickup, the Fishman Full Circle Double Bass Pickup and the Realist Upright Bass Pickup are all very compatible with the GKMB150, and each offer their own special tonal characteristics.  To get more specific tonal shaping capabilities and help decrease the likelihood of feedback, consider the Fishman Platinum Pro EQ Preamplifier.
